We are a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based company focused on delivering new media solutions that are effective, beautiful, intuitive, and solidly built inside and out.

Our Process

At Ignition, we don't believe in a "one size fits all" approach to new media. We work closely with you every step of the way so that we can deliver a solution as unique as you are.

We begin your project by discovering who you are, what you need and how we can help you achieve your goals. Then we use extensive analysis, careful planning, and detailed wireframing to build a solid project foundation.

With the project goals, strategy and deadlines established, we use our design expertise to create the perfect look, feel and structure for your Web site, email campaign, DVD, mobile application or social media platform.

When all the design pieces are in place we bring them together to develop a unified interface. Our standards-based programming and thorough testing will ensure that your project will work flawlessly across all browsers, systems and platforms.

After all testing is complete we deliver your project to you, whether that means publishing your Web site, sending your email blast or duplicating and mailing your CDs. Then we devote ourselves to assisting you with questions, updates and maintenance.

Our Technology

The digital landscape is always changing, but you can count on us to have the right tools for your project every time. Here's what you'll find in our toolbox:

• We hand code our Web projects using the most current HTML and CSS Web standards. Then we enhance the functionality with jQuery, store and process data dynamically with the robust MySQL / PHP framework, and provide powerful Web statistics with Google Analytics. And, while we're well-versed in a variety of content management systems, we prefer WordPress because it's so flexible and our clients find it so easy to use.

• We develop Email Campaigns with the same HTML and CSS standards we use for our Web projects. And when the HTML email design and development are complete, we deliver the emails, manage email lists, and provide real-time, cutting-edge campaign reports to our clients using Campaign Monitor.

• We duplicate CDs and DVDs using our own in-house CD/DVD equipment, which is capable of duplicating hundreds of discs at a time with direct-to-disc 4-color printing. For CD and DVD scripting and development, we use Adobe's Flash Platform.
